Every Which Way Shawl Kit
This new kit from Artyarns that I designed is knitted top down and uses lace and cables to keep things interesting. It comes with one skein of Beaded Silk Light in the main color, one smaller skein of Beaded Silk Light in the second color, and one small skein of Cashmere 1 ply. The pattern contains a chart as well as line-by-line instructions, so this is a perfect pattern to use to learn both lace and cables. It comes in 4 colors. Shown here in Forest Green, and on the left top to bottom: Stormy Seas, Firestorm, and Mother of Pearl.
Here’s a sales sheet that gives you more photos and details about the kit, which comes in a lovely decorative tin you can re-use to store notions. Be warned, these shawls are addictive, and so fun to knit, you’ll want to make them all, once you get going. Because the shawl is silk + cashmere, it is very lightweight and can be worn all year, whether alone or tied together with others in different colors:
