Lightning Bolt Scarf
This is a twist on a simple diagonal scarf, and works so well with two types of Artyarns: one thick (Artyarns Ultrabulky in tonal grey, 2247) and one dk weight (Silk Pearl with or without Beads, in black, 246–try it with Beaded Pearl with black beads–wow ). I love the way both yarns are super-luxurious and soft, yet different enough to add incredible texture to the piece. I hope to get some more photos soon.
To start the knitalong, I’ll be posting the 1st part of the instructions to the Multidirectional Group, and then emailing the ending of the pattern to those who post a photo of their project. So if you’re not yet a member of the Multidirectional Group on Yahoo, join us.
You will need just one skein of each of the two recommended yarns to make about a 64″ long scarf. The first part of the pattern will be posted by the end of the day to the group.
See you there.

WOW! What a beautiful scarf. I would love to join this group but here is my problem. I do not have a digital camera and even if I did, I do not know how to post a picture to the group. Does this mean that I wouldn’t be able to receive the last part of the pattern?
Thanks
Kay
Kay, if you can’t take a photo and have no one to do it for you, there is always the option of purchasing the pattern as a download here:

Thank you Iris. I shall do just that! I also will purchase the recommended yarn.
